Story

Made for an opera house

Poltrona Frau says the clean lines of the Ascolto armchair, first designed for the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan, go with an ergonomic design that gives optimal comfort and support. The sheet shows the armchair in rows in the Teatro degli Arcimboldi and in the Aula Magna Lingotto of the Faculty of Dentistry in Turin.

Fixed to the floor

The armchair sits on a steel base that is fixed to the floor, and the sheet describes the seat as retracting automatically thanks to its silent counterweight system. The sheet also draws the armchairs side by side in straight rows and in curved rows, with a minimum curve radius of 15 m.
