Overview
Designed by Antonio Citterio in 2018, Ascanio is a solid-wood occasional table offered in three sizes. Flexform describes it as practical, easy to move and discreetly elegant.
Construction
The frame is solid Canaletto walnut, ash or oak. The top can repeat those solid woods or switch to one of the marble options published by Flexform. Raised ends at the frame visually contain the circular or broad rounded top.
Specifications
Representative code: 025072. Dimensions: 128 × 120 × 38 cm. The same drawing labels the top surface at 120 cm across while the frame reaches 128 cm overall.
Story
A useful table with a composed presence
Ascanio was created as a movable occasional table rather than a fixed centrepiece. Its solid frame gives the piece a defined outline, and Flexform connects its practical role with an understated character.
Three scales
The official range moves from a compact circular table to a larger round version and an expansive low format. Across the three codes, the projecting frame ends remain a recognizable part of the design while the top may be specified in wood or marble.
