Story

The Eco sofa

A HAY news item introduces the Arbour Eco Sofa as the first sofa from a Danish company to receive the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. It names Oeko-Tex foam, EU-Ecolabelled textiles and FSC-certified wood as its materials and says its parts can be repaired or replaced individually.

Frame and cushions

In the same item the designers describe a frame in solid oak or solid walnut with large wood planks covering the back and sides, so that the sofa defines its space, and side pillows of the same size and construction as the back pillows.
