Description
Overview
The Amii ottoman is designed by nendo for Minotti. It belongs to the Amii outdoor seating system, with its soft, voluminous cushions and woven cord. Amii ottomans serve as functional elements or informal service seats, and they stand out for high square and rounded cushions.
Construction
A varnished stainless steel frame is wrapped in woven polypropylene fibre in a 24x7 mm strip. The seat cushion has variable-density polyurethane foam and viscose fibre, encased in a water-repellent polyester slipcover, with a wooden insert for added weight so the cushion adheres to the ottoman. A cord loop on the cushion helps lift it off.

Story
Seating system, in ottoman form
The Amii outdoor seating system is characterised by the unprecedented presence of soft, voluminous cushions and woven cord. It also takes the form of ottomans, suited to building several comfortable open-air living combinations.
Service seat on feet or castors
Designed as functional elements or informal service seats, the ottomans are also available on castors. Their varnished, stainless steel frame is covered with woven rope and the storage version holds a practical storage unit.
