Overview
Alima NDS6 is a five-shelf shelving unit designed in 2026 by Note (design studio). A timeless storage unit, it is reminiscent of mid-century modern shelving systems from Scandinavia.
Construction
Welded steel tubes, bent and chrome finished, make the frame. Its veneer shelves have milled solid wood edges and come lacquered in oak or walnut. FSC® certified wood is used.

Story
Storage and display
In NDS6 work binders and kitchen utensils find order, and favourite items find a platform to be displayed on. Mid-century modern shelving systems from Scandinavia come to mind.
Made of wood and metal
The materials are wood and metal, and the unit can be taken apart into its components ahead of recycling. It is delivered flat-packed, is meant for indoor use and is made using FSC® certified wood.
