Description

Overview

Alex is Antonio Citterio’s 2017 table series in rectangular, round and square forms. Large lenticular trestles and a connecting crosspiece define the frame.

Structure and surfaces

Top options include veneered MDF, laminated mirror glass with safety film and bonded stainless-steel panels, or marble. The main frame is high-density structural techno-polymer, reinforced with steel and an aluminium lower crosspiece.

TAL340

The longest rectangular drawing gives W 340 × D 110 × H 73 cm. A central swivel tray is documented for the circular version.

Story

Three geometries

B&B Italia presents rectangular versions in three lengths alongside a square form and round formats. A round swivel tray is available for the circular table.

Lenticular trestles

The manufacturer calls the large sectional elements lenticular in shape. These trestles connect through crosspieces, making the support a visible part of each outline rather than a set of separate legs.
