Background
Valentine Maupetit studied design, object option, at the ESADSE in Saint-Etienne, earning the DNSEP in 2020 with the jury's congratulations. Before that she completed a DNAP in fine arts, sculpture and installation, at the EESI in Poitiers from 2014 to 2017.
Signature Style
Her projects include research on the acoustic environments of tertiary workplaces at the ENSCI and ENS Paris-Saclay design research centre, a workshop on worker mobility in a Chinese megalopolis at the CAFA in Beijing, and a prospective project on European agriculture in 2050 for the EU Policy Lab.
Notable Works
Her Ligne Roset creation is the Aube Console table 3 doors. Her Kamakura lamp was a finalist in the 12th Cinna Révélateur de Talents competition, and the project Fuga, which received the jury prize at the Concours Desjoyaux in 2019.
Legacy
In 2020 she received the Prix Dess(e)ins 2020 from Les Traces Habiles in the Itinérance category, and the jury's Coup de coeur prize in the 13th Cinna Révélateur de Talents competition with the Aube console.
