Simone Bonanni was born in Pordenone and is a product designer based in Milan. He graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design.
Studio path
After three years at Marcel Wanders Studio in Amsterdam, Bonanni returned to Italy in 2015 and founded Simone Bonanni Studio.
Approach
Zanotta describes his practice as beginning with a product's role in society and bringing function, context and meaning into a conscious synthesis. Form is treated as communication, shaping an affective and then physical relationship between object and user. Bonanni has worked with Zanotta since 2026.
