Simon Morasi Piperčić was born on 1 February 1985. In 2013 he founded a Zagreb-based design agency that works on projects ranging from furniture and spatial design to specialist on-site installations, artistic direction and design consultancy.
Signature Style
The studio's identity comes from the intercultural space between elitism and egalitarianism, and between avant-garde experimentation and highly commercial products. That blend has given the team a position that is easy to recognize in the global profession.
Notable Works
For Ligne Roset the designer created the Traverse Bench and the Ugao corner hanging coat rack. In 2014 the team was part of the group that designed the Croatian Pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia.
Recognition
Its awards include the German Design Award 2017, the Red Dot in 2013 and 2015, and the Interior Innovation Award in 2015. Its work has appeared in Dezeen, Domus, Frame and Designboom and has been exhibited all over the world.
