Biography
Background
E-ggs is a design group of four: Gaia Giotti (born 1983), Giona Scarselli (1974), Cristina Razzanelli (1978) and Erica De Candido (1979). Since 2013 they have worked on design with a transversal approach that ranges from product design to interior design and architecture.
Signature Style
The four are architects and designers who gained professional experience in different areas of design before they began to collaborate. Since 2018 they have taught Product Design at IED Firenze.
Notable Works
Their awards include the Red Dot Award (winner of furniture design, 2017), the Wallpaper Design Award (winner, 2017), the German Design Award (winner, 2017) and the IF Product Design Award (winner, 2017) for Leaf for Ton a.s. Leaf Armchair for Ton won the German Design Award in 2020, and Botera for Miniforms won the Archiproducts Design Award in 2019. For Ligne Roset they designed the Frà Sofa end table.
Legacy
The Interior Innovation Award selection (2017) and the Archiproduct Design Award best of category (2016) also went to Leaf for Ton a.s.
