Nathanaël Désormeaux and Damien Carrette set up the Désormeaux/Carrette studio in January 2014. Its field is industrial design, with a mission to make objects that can go into series production, for clients from start-ups up to well-known retail furniture and object brands.
Signature Style
The studio puts passion for materials and an instinctive understanding of what an object is meant to convey at the centre of its approach. Its method is deconstruction: taking an object apart and rethinking it as a whole to reveal its technical heart.
Notable Works
For Ligne Roset the studio designed the Rosa, rosa, rosas wall light.
Legacy
Through this approach the studio seeks to question current production methods and to imbue industrial objects with poetry.
