Avril de Pastre was born on 20 April 1987. She spent three years at the école des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and received her DNAP (Diplôme National d'Arts Plastiques) with honours.

Avril de Pastre was born on 20 April 1987. She spent three years at the école des Beaux-Arts de Rennes and received her DNAP (Diplôme National d'Arts Plastiques) with honours.
Studies in Reims
In 2009 she entered the ESAD in Reims to study for her DNSEP (Diplôme national supérieur d'expression plastique), with a project on objects that improve the acoustic comfort of domestic spaces. It was to be presented in June 2011.
Exhibitions and prize
During her studies her work was shown at the Exposition des écoles at the VIA, at the Designhuis in Eindhoven and at the Lieu du design in Paris. In 2009 she won the 'Lumière sur l'Art' competition organized by the BHV.
Work for Ligne Roset
Her first collaboration with Cinna is the Solveig floor lamp.
