Background
Atelier Ferraro is an architecture and design studio based in Munich, specializing in architectural solutions and design objects for modern living. Emanuele Ferraro, an architect who studied in Italy and Greece before relocating to Germany, founded it. In Germany he collaborated with several renowned architectural firms, contributing to large-scale buildings and interior furnishings.
Signature Style
That experience deepened his passion for furniture and object design. He works closely with international galleries and companies, developing design concepts across various disciplines.
Notable Works
His MAX 1.5° lounge chair received a special mention at the SaloneSatellite Award in 2022. In 2025 he received the German Design Award for his lamp From the Moon, a table lamp he designed for Ligne Roset.
Legacy
Atelier Ferraro was among 100 designers shown in 2024 in the traveling exhibition Italy: A New Collective Landscape. The ADI Design Museum produced it and Angela Rui curated it, and it honors designers who address contemporary challenges.
