Collection Story
Origin
The Umanoff Collection gathers designs by Arthur Umanoff (1923–1985), the American industrial designer associated with the American midcentury modern movement. The Umanoff Planter was designed in 1961, and the Side Table and Nesting Side Table date to the 1950s.
Design Language
The pieces pair a few honest materials: walnut and brass on the Side Table, walnut with coloured laminate on the Nesting Side Table, powder coated steel with handwoven rattan on the Planter, black powder coated steel with leather on the Wine Rack, and brass with walnut on the Pendant. Several are described as reissues.
Key Pieces
The Side Table, Nesting Side Table, Wine Rack, Planter in three sizes and Pendant make up the range.
