Collection Story
Origin
The Trinidad series is a group of seats by Nanna Ditzel that Fredericia presents under one collection page of six products. The sheets date the chair and armchair to 1993 and the barstool to 1998, and the chair's page notes that it reached its 30th anniversary in 2023.
Design Language
All three wooden-seat models share a moulded plywood back with CNC-milled cut-outs, a steel tube frame, rivets and interchangeable plastic glides. The cut-outs are tied by Fredericia to the fretwork of gingerbread facades that Ditzel encountered on a journey to Trinidad.
