Collection Story
Origin
Fredericia's Spanish Collection page lists four chairs by Børge Mogensen: The Spanish Chair, The Spanish Dining Armchair, The Hunting Chair and The Spanish Dining Chair. The fact sheets date the Hunting Chair to 1950, the Spanish Chair to 1958 and the two dining models to 1964.
Design Language
All four set saddle leather, fastened with metal buckles, into a solid wood frame. Fredericia says the leather is tanned and tailored in Sweden by Tärnsjö Garveri.
