Range S 220
Thonet's S 220 range by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, unveiled in 2022, consists of moulded plywood chairs with and without armrests, the S 220 Atelier swivel chair (DRW) and the S 220 H barstool.
Atelier and barstool
Thonet's press text on the Atelier, dated 2022/2023, says the swivel version makes the design mobile, a chair that can be taken anywhere in working or living spaces. The S 220 H barstool carries the aesthetics of the chairs into a stool with an ergonomic seat shell and a lightweight tubular steel frame.
