Collection Story
Ruché by Inga Sempé
Ligne Roset explains that the name Ruché refers to gathered or pleated fabric used as decoration on clothing. The collection brings together a solid-wood structure and deeply quilted upholstery: straight, slender uprights meet the soft undulations of a duvet-like cover.
A compact seating family
The official page describes a seating collection designed to combine comfort with compact proportions. It lists large and medium settees, lower-backed settee variants, armchairs, one-armed settees with integrated table surfaces and a footstool. The high-backed pieces have a more upright profile, while the low-backed settees use a lower seat, greater depth, a backward-sloping seat and back, and matching lumbar cushions.
Construction and covers
Across the seating family, Ligne Roset specifies solid wood and steel reinforcement, Pullmaflex or steel-grid suspension according to area, multiple foam densities and removable quilted covers. The quilting joins the family visually while allowing many plain fabrics and leather options.
