Collection Story
Origin
Relate is Muuto's side table family by Big-Game, a design studio created in 2004 in Lausanne, Switzerland, by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elric Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod. Muuto calls the Relate Side Table the first-ever design by Big-Game for the brand, and it visited the studio in Lausanne to hear how the studio sees the table in the context of today's workspace.
Design Language
The table has two planes linked by a graphic leg, with a visual lightness that shows in the look and in the use. Big-Game says its own work is often described as simple, functional and optimistic, and that the table pairs well with those traits through its simple silhouette and easy-to-read functionality.
