Collection Story
Origin
Ligne Roset's Prado page names Christian Werner as the designer and calls Prado a flagship Ligne Roset settee, noted for clean lines, comfort and versatility. Werner is described as a German designer born in 1959 and based in Hamburg, with his own industrial design studio since 1992; the page adds that he also designed the Selvans furniture programme and the modular Everywhere collection for the brand.
Design Language
The brand's tagline for Prado is the sofa that reinvents seating. Each back cushion is independent and can be moved freely, placed on the settee, on the floor or used to make an extra bed, and the seat is generous and reversible. Ligne Roset says it is made in France, with precise quilting and meticulous stitching.
Key Pieces
The collection page names large and medium settees, a square settee, and square, round or rectangular footstools, with fabrics, leathers and velvets.
