Collection Story
Origin
The Oslo family is a sofa and seating family by the Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll, who named it after the Norwegian capital they call home. Muuto describes it as a new perspective on sculptural design, characterised by contemporary lines, embracing curves and an airy expression.
Design Language
Muuto's sofa guide says the family was designed as a sculptural and closed object that unites geometric lines with a light form. The designers say they wanted "an organic and human sofa series with a light and inviting appearance, without compromising on comfort", and describe an embracing, rounded softness.
