Origin
Fredericia's article says the sofas were crafted in Denmark and acknowledge the Konami Sofa launched in 2019. Designed by Damian Williamson (1974-2024) and dated 2023, the name is Japanese for wave, and Williamson traces the idea to a quiet moment in nature facing the horizon, the sea and the waves.
Design Language
Compared with Konami there are no legs, which gives a flowing look. The system has three modules that can form compact two seater arrangements as well as large configurations.
