Collection Story
Origin
Ligne Roset's Long Island range comes from Soda Designers - Nasrallah&Horner. The Long island name covers an armchair and two chairs, one with a beech base and one with a black lacquered base. Nada Nasrallah and Christian Horner, who work from Vienna, form the studio.
Design Language
Moulded foam (60 kg/m³) around a metal insert gives the chair its structure, and elastic webbing forms the seat and back. The chair takes any of 44 covering materials. Its base is beech, solid, natural or anthracite-stained.
Key Pieces
The range has three chair versions, with a base in natural beech, a base in anthracite-stained beech and a black lacquered base. Each is 840 mm high, 550 mm wide and 545 mm deep with a seat height of 485 mm, seats one place and weighs 9 kg.
On INTEBEE the pieces of this collection can be added to a spec sheet with their official images and dimensions, and every revision of the specification is kept in one place for the project team and suppliers.
