起源
Le Bambole（ル・バンボレ）はマリオ・ベリーニによるシリーズで、B&B Italiaが製造しています。ブランドによれば制作年は1972年とされ、1979年にコンパッソ・ドーロ賞を受賞しました。B&B Italiaはこの作品を「時代を超えた現代性のアイコン」と呼んでいます。
デザインの特徴
ページでは3つの特徴が挙げられています。存在を感じさせないほどの構造、極めて自然なフォルム、そして一つのルックスに宿る快適さ・柔らかさ・弾力性です。初期の作品はポリウレタンの内部に金属フレームを備えていましたが、現在は再生ポリエチレンがフレームを担っており、各パーツは完全に分解してリサイクルすることができます。
