Collection Story

Origin

Jacques is a family of seating by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. The manufacturer's page says the collection includes sofas, armchairs and ottomans in several sizes, all of them originating from a common design seed that turns a vaguely retro style into a symbol of absolutely contemporary style. Minotti lists the family in its 2017 Collection.

Design Language

The aesthetic language is made of soft shapes, compact proportions and details with striking visual impact, such as the metal base in a Bronze finish. Elegant stitching emphasises the curved silhouette, and the rounded shapes contrast with the more formal, geometric outlines of the Lawrence sofa.
