Collection Story
Origin
Fri™ is a family by Jaime Hayon for Fritz Hansen. The lounge chair and the footstool carry 2015 as their design year, and the two-seater Fri™ Sofa followed with a design year of 2024. The fact sheet for the chair presents Fri as Hayon's version of an extrovert chair, and the sofa sheet describes an open form meant for time spent together in easy comfort.
Design Language
The chair sheet gives open, soft and simple as its keywords; the aim is comfort together with a sculptural appearance. The sofa has a wider seat and stands on tapered aluminium legs.
