Collection Story

Origin

Walter Knoll traces its ties with the architect Lord Norman Foster to the Reichstag building in Berlin. The press text now counts the lobby seating that came out of it among the modern classics, and the product pages name lounges, conference rooms and hotel rooms as places to use it.

Design Language

The maker names a stiff chrome frame and geometric leather surfaces above it as the signature. The armchair sheet describes steel and wood with sinuous springs, cushions held on by hook-and-loop fastener, and a brushed chrome base.
