起源
Knollのコレクションページによると、フローレンス・ノルは建築家ならではの目と鋭いプロポーション感覚により、日々の暮らしを美しくデザインされた喜びへと変える家具やインテリアを生み出しました。彼女はこれらのデザインをKnoll Planning Unitでの業務の一環として手がけ、ベルトイア、ミース、サーリネンによる傑出した作品の中でも、それらを「ミートアンドポテト（主力となる定番）」と呼びました。
デザインの言語
Knollのブローシャーは、彼女の仕事を抑制が効いていてクールでありながら、豊かで活力に満ちたものと表現し、1960年代初頭の客観的な完璧主義を反映していると述べています。ベースはクロームまたはサテンクロームで、ガラス、ベニヤ、大理石、ラミネート、ラッカーを載せています。
