Collection Story
Origin
Fiandra is a modular seating system that Vico Magistretti created in 1975. Cassina presents the current line as a re-edition of that historical model, dated 2025 on its page, with more generous shapes and a lower seat.
Design Language
The project is described as an effort to eliminate the superfluous through a construction that excludes unnecessary materials. A single powder-coated steel structure carries a webbed platform, and neighbouring modules are coupled by a metal plate and press studs beneath it.
Key Pieces
The Fiandra armchair page offers a square pouf, a rectangular pouf and an armchair, all built on the same seat module.
