Collection Story
Origin
Dudet is a family of three padded seats designed by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina: a chair from 2021 and an armchair and a two-seat sofa from 2024. The chair's sheet recalls the design of the 1970s, and the sofa's sheet again points to stylistic references to that decade.
Design Language
Each piece is made of a seat cushion and two sinuous tubes that draw legs, armrests and backrest in one line. The armchair is adapted from the chair with enlarged shapes and more padding; the sofa carries the design over to a two-seat settee in one size. The sheets state the pieces are easy to disassemble, so the steel core can be separated from the foam padding.
