Collection Story
Origin
Architectural brackets that bear weight, traditionally cut from stone or wood, give the Corbel Collection both its name and its design cues. The designer is Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, the Copenhagen studio that Mads Sætter-Lassen and Emil Krøyer started in 2016.
Design Language
The collection consists of modernist wall-mounted shelves and a desk that combine contrasting natural materials. The shelf is offered in marble or dark-stained oak, with dark-stained oak and bronzed steel brackets in the large size, and the medium shelf is described as a wall-hung podium in marble, dark stained oak and plated steel. The desk has solid wood edges. A small distance to the wall allows neat cord management.
Key Pieces
The Corbel Desk, the Corbel Shelf in Large and Medium sizes and the Corbel Shelf Hardware make up the range. The shelf suits dining, kitchen and living areas, and it can be paired with the desk to form a minimalist home office.
