Collection Story
Origin
Boboli is Rodolfo Dordoni's table family for Cassina, named for the gardens of Florence. Cassina's page for the dining table calls it a tribute to those gardens, and the catalogue text says the family is rooted in classical Italian gardens, where plants were trained to grow vertically.
Design Language
The family is built on slim, twisted uprights in aluminium that carry the top and shape the base. Cassina says the engineering task was to make these elements stable, and that the sinuous legs give the tables a sculptural look. Tops are glass or marble, with matt black MDF under them.
