Origin
Back-Wing couples a 2018 chair with a 2019 armchair, both by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina. The armchair's sheet says it shares the distinctive aesthetics of the chair designed in 2018.
Design Language
Both pieces rest on large solid-wood sections, and the armchair pits its thick wood structure against a padded seat and a wrap-around back. In the chair the turned-down top of the back serves as an arm-rest; in the armchair the sides fold back into two small wings.
