Collection Story

Origin

Ardys is a family by Patricia Urquiola, dated 2026 on Cassina's pages. Cassina's sofa page calls it a floor-sofa system shaped to resemble a large contemporary quilt, inspired by the lightness and warmth of Nordic duvets.

Design Language

Deep stitching draws a graphic pattern into seats and backrests and sets raised against recessed shapes over generous padding. The modules follow an 85 by 85 cm square matrix, joined by a snap-on joint, and the lacquered concrete coffee tables answer the upholstery with a glossy surface.

Key Pieces

  • Ardys Sofa: a modular sofa in five arrangements
  • Ardys Armchair: the single-seat piece
  • Ardys Coffee Table: square and rectangular tables, freestanding or integrated into the sofa
