Collection Story
Origin
Fredericia's collection page lists two A-Chair models by Jens Risom, a Danish-American designer: the Wood Base, model 6540, and the Metal Base, model 6542. Both product pages date the design to 1961.
Design Language
The product pages describe a graphic contour and a back view in which a frame wraps the whole chair. Both models are upholstered lounge chairs with their own seat cushion, and both list identical outer measurements and the same seat height.
