Brand Story
Heritage
Kettal was established in 1966 as a family business in Europe, initially focusing on aluminium camping gear. It later shifted direction to specialise in contemporary outdoor furniture, and has since expanded its presence to more than 80 countries. An early affinity for international design led to the formation of the Kettal Group, and in the early 2000s strategic acquisitions, including Hugonet and Triconfort, broadened its portfolio.
Philosophy
Kettal describes its aim as timeless, functional and expressive furniture that provides solutions to the emerging needs of modern life. It prioritises quality over quantity, engineering each piece with robust materials to withstand time and trends, and it commits to sustainability through eco-friendly paints, responsibly sourced wood and, in its aluminium profiles, 80% recycled aluminium.

Iconic Works
Kettal works with international designers including Patricia Urquiola, Antonio Citterio, Rodolfo Dordoni, Jasper Morrison, Konstantin Grcic, Naoto Fukasawa, Ronan Bouroullec, Doshi Levien and Vincent Van Duysen. Its collections include Bitta and Grand Bitta by Rodolfo Dordoni, Giro, Insula, Loden, Passage, Pavilion and Tilos.

Today
All Kettal products are built in-house in a coastal town about 45 km from Barcelona, where the company has its roots, allowing close attention to detail and personalised requests. Alongside Kettal Living it runs Kettal Workplace and Kettal Contract, and sells through flagship stores and a dealer network.
