Overview
Za:Za Bed is a 2024 design by Zaven. The selected 1750 version combines a rounded upholstered base and headboard with an integrated storage compartment beneath the mattress support.
Construction
The headboard and base use MDF padded with recycled PET fibre. An aluminium-colour varnished steel springing frame carries naturally finished bent-beech strips, while the internal upholstery is a polyester-cotton fabric.
Specifications
The external fabric cover is removable. The storage compartment is opened by lifting the springing with a dedicated mechanism. For the selected 170 x 200 cm mattress size, the size table gives 205 x 235 cm. The largest vertical value in the closed-bed drawing is 100 cm, but its axis is not labelled.

Za:Za moves into the bedroom
Zanotta presents the bed as an extension of the comfort explored in Zaven's Za:Za sofa. The bed frame, headboard and cushions translate that approach into a form dedicated to rest, with soft lines around the mattress platform.
Two practical versions
Model 1750 integrates a lift-up container unit. Model 1751 omits the compartment and instead provides height-adjustable corner supports for separately supplied springing, allowing the same upholstered expression to be specified with or without integrated storage.
