Rocking configuration
The Penguin Rocking Chair is Audo’s 1953 Ib Kofod-Larsen design with a curved oak or walnut veneer back, an upholstered seat and a powder-coated steel frame. Solid ash rockers distinguish this model from the other Penguin chairs.
Construction
The published material specification lists powder-coated steel, curved plywood, oak or walnut veneer, solid ash, and foam with fabric or leather when upholstered.
Dimensions
The chair measures 56 cm wide × 85 cm deep × 74 cm high. The stated seat height is 42 cm, and armrest height is 59.6 cm.

A 1953 rocking chair
Audo dates this rocking-chair design by Ib Kofod-Larsen to 1953 and relates its direction to American modernism of the 1950s and 1960s. The open construction sets a shaped wood back and upholstered seat within a steel framework.
Rockers, veneer and upholstery
The product page specifies solid ash for the rockers and oak or walnut veneer for the curved back. Fabric and leather are both offered for the seat. Those elements define this Penguin model together with its published 85 cm depth.
