Overview
Sway is Yabu Pushelberg's modular outdoor sofa system for Molteni&C. Eleven elements include two sofas, two chaise longues, a corner, a centre module, four end units and an island.
Construction
Solid teak bases support differentiated-density polyurethane seat cushions. Painted aluminium frames carry polypropylene weaving, while back and seat fillings use water-repellent polyester-fibre covers.
Published codes
The official sheet identifies sofas SDV25 and SDV17. Their drawings print value sets of 259, 92 and 68 cm and 174, 92 and 68 cm, without written axis labels.

Modularity outdoors
Molteni&C presents Sway as a way to bring the flexibility of an interior modular system into an outdoor setting. Eleven pieces allow linear, cornered and open compositions rather than fixing the design to a single sofa format.
A repeated language
Yabu Pushelberg combines curved and angular lines across the system. Teak bases, woven backrests and a C-shaped side element recur through the modules, while cushions in several formats adapt the support to each configuration.
