Overview
Vincent Van Duysen extends Soleva into a low, elongated sunbed supported by a powder-coated aluminium structure. The raised backrest uses linen-finish Batyline, while a loose, unfixed cushion adapts to different lounging preferences.
Mattress choices
Molteni&C offers two optional 200 × 75 cm mattresses. One is 6.5 cm thick and the other 19.5 cm thick, allowing a lighter or more generously padded configuration. The complete sunbed is stackable.
SLE1 dimensions
The SLE1 drawing prints 88, 202.6 and 77 cm for the frame. The largest vertical number is not marked with an axis word.
故事
Rest under open sky
Molteni&C connects the sunbed to rest, light and the open sky. Van Duysen answers with an extended horizontal structure whose raised Batyline support creates the principal gesture while the remaining frame stays low.
Two levels of softness
The design separates frame, Batyline support, loose cushion and optional mattress. Two documented mattress thicknesses create lighter and fuller upholstered profiles on the same SLE1 frame.
