Overview
Sean is a 2009 seating collection by Jean-Marie Massaud. Arper combines generous geometric volumes with slender cast-metal legs across armchairs, sofas and a bench.
Construction
Representative two-seat sofa 1401 has an MDF frame and aluminium feet. Upholstery choices include fabric, leather and coated fabric, with customer-supplied material also accepted. The collection page highlights compact dimensions and comfortable cushions.
Range
The official family page lists one-, two- and three-seat lounge models, allowing the same formal language to move between individual and shared seating.
Histoire
Form, comfort and memory
The Sean page reduces the collection's character to generous geometric seating volumes supported by visually slender legs. Its compact footprint and cushions are intended to bring comfort to both homes and common areas.
A coordinated range
Jean-Marie Massaud developed the idea across several capacities and a bench. The related armchair and sofa forms retain the same contrast between upholstered mass and the light cast-metal support.
