Occasional table
Pompei model 6860 is an occasional table designed by Alik Cavaliere in 1992. Zanotta specifies a top decorated with polychrome marble inlay and a steel base.
Base and drawing
The steel is sandblasted and nickel-plated. The official drawing prints 80 and 43 cm beside the circular plan and vertical view without labelling the axes.

Official Zanotta records name Alik Cavaliere, give 1992 and identify the occasional table as model 6860. These details recur on the current page, the one-page sheet and the Edizioni archive.
Marble inlay over steel
The product specification concentrates on two treatments. Polychrome marble forms the inlaid decoration across the top, while the steel base receives both sandblasting and nickel plating.
