로우백 라운지 체어
Pilot은 플렉시블 업홀스터리 서브스트럭처를 사용한 캔틸레버 좌석의 회전형 라운지 체어입니다. 네 개의 별 모양 베이스가 360도 회전합니다.
구조
Knoll은 다이캐스트 알루미늄 베이스, 몰드 폴리우레탄 폼, 니트 백킹 폴리에스터 섬유, 그리고 스틸, 다이캐스트 알루미늄, 탄성 웨빙을 결합한 내부 구조를 명시하고 있습니다.

Barber and Osgerby의 Pilot
Edward Barber와 Jay Osgerby는 Pilot을 시각적, 소재적 가벼움을 지닌 라운지 체어로 디자인했습니다. Knoll은 이 좌석이 베이스 위에 떠 있는 듯 보인다고 설명합니다.
로우백 버전
공식 사양에는 암리스, 루프 암, 업홀스터리 암 버전과 오토만이 명시되어 있습니다. 업홀스터리는 좌석, 등받이, 업홀스터리 암에 나뉘어 적용될 수 있으나, 한 의자 안에서 패브릭과 가죽을 혼용하지는 않습니다.
