Overview
Moor is Vincent Van Duysen's 2026 chaise longue for B&B Italia, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. A continuous loop carries the woven surface and follows an extended reclining posture.
Construction
The support frame combines die-cast aluminium and extrusions with polyester powder coating. Rattan forms the interlacing. The shaped-polyurethane headrest has an underlying polyester-fibre cover; B&B Italia offers its outer layer in either textile or hide.
Dimensions
Largest MR168L drawing values, not labelled with axes: 1680 × 640 × 790 mm. Its legs are positioned to preserve the continuity of the looping structure.
Histoire
The loop
Van Duysen developed Moor around a structure that unfolds as an organic loop. The rattan interlacing is stretched across that path to create the surface supporting the body.
Continuity
The legs were designed not to interrupt the rhythm of the surrounding line. B&B Italia presents the same balance of structure, tactile expression and comfort for indoor and outdoor settings.
