Overview
The IOI Side Table by GamFratesi is a compact round table built from travertine, steel and brass. GUBI characterizes the design through Italian materiality and geometric Art Deco references expressed in a contemporary language.
Construction
A Rippled Beige travertine top sits above legs formed from paired metal tubes. Brass spheres connect the tubes, producing the I-O-I motif from which the collection takes its name. Black and chrome base choices are listed.
Specifications

Histoire
The I-O-I motif
GUBI explains the name through the leg structure: two upright tubes are linked by a sphere, turning the letters I-O-I into a physical arrangement. The small brass junctions punctuate the otherwise slender support.
Two base expressions
The side-table page lists one round size with either a black semi-matt base or a chrome base. Both variants retain the same travertine top and brass-sphere construction.
