Upholstered swivel structure
The concealed structure combines tubular steel with steel profiles. Flexible cold-shaped polyurethane foam and a polyester-fibre cover provide the upholstery. The GPA version uses a swivel base-frame in laminated steel and extruded aluminium, with thermoplastic ferrules. Fabric and leather covers are offered in limited categories.
GPA dimensions
The drawing labels 83 × 87 × 102 cm, with 50 and 36 cm vertical values also shown.
Histoire
Back shaped around the head
The official sheet describes the back as two wings that envelop and protect the head. The large upper section is paired with a sinuous seat and swivel system, while a visible rear zipper releases the removable cover.
Armchair and footrest
B&B Italia presents Grande Papilio with a matching GP ottoman. The official drawing gives the ottoman as 70 × 50 × 42.5 cm, while the armchair is identified separately by the GPA code.
