Overview
Fly includes two low living-room consoles within Antonio Citterio’s extensive 2009 family for Flexform, which also contains dining, coffee and side tables. Optional hide-leather Box containers are available in several colours.
Construction
An epoxy-powder-coated metal frame carries a marble top. Metal feet repeat the table design, are offered in multiple finishes and rest on thermoplastic tips.
Specifications
The official drawing labels article 014X80 at 205 × 51 × 32 cm. Article 014X81 has the same width and depth with a 52 cm height.
Histoire
A lighter storage format
Flexform describes the two Fly consoles as light and airy pieces designed for the living room. Their marble tops provide a place to display the cowhide Box baskets, which are available in several colours.
Shared family detail
The metal feet repeat the design used on Fly tables. Epoxy-coated structures and marble tops connect the consoles to the broader family, while the two documented heights distinguish their proportions.
