Overview
Eden is a 2010 bed by Antonio Citterio. Its contoured plywood headboard is clad in cowhide, while the padded perimeter can be ordered in fabric or leather.
Base systems
Flexform documents a wooden rigid base, an adjustable slatted platform, storage versions and frames without a platform. Eden Plus adds a wider headboard with adjustable side panels.
Specifications
Representative wooden-base code 015FL1 measures 163 × 208 × 105 cm. Its bedframe upholstery is removable, while the cowhide headboard remains structurally distinct.
Storia
Cowhide and upholstered volume
Flexform places cowhide at the centre of Eden's material identity. The headboard is contoured plywood clad in cowhide, while the perimeter frame can be covered in fabric or leather with removable upholstery.
Eden and Eden Plus
The Plus version expands the headboard and introduces adjustable side panels, while retaining the same documented family of rigid, slatted and storage-base arrangements. The product sheet separates these variants by code rather than treating them as different products.
