Overview
Earl is Antonio Citterio’s 2022 family of low and tall storage cabinets. Flexform presents the pieces for living and dining settings, with finished fronts and backs that also allow placement away from a wall.
Construction
The structure is veneered wood, with matching doors, drawers and tops. Interior fittings vary by model and may include glass shelves and wood drawers. Cast-aluminium feet support the cabinet.
Specifications
The representative tall cabinet in the technical sheet is 105 × 60 × 150 cm. Selected low models can be ordered with an optional marble top.
Historia
Balanced storage
Flexform describes Earl as a study in proportion rather than simple reduction. Its identifying gesture is the drawer front: a curved upper edge appears to frame the top while keeping the outer profile restrained.
Viewed from every side
The family includes drawer cabinets and a tall hinged-door cabinet. Because the back is finished as carefully as the front, each piece can stand within a room instead of being limited to perimeter storage.
