Recycled shell at two heights
The Eames Molded Plastic Stool places a one-piece shell containing 100 percent recycled plastic on a four-leg counter- or bar-height base. The nonupholstered counter model is 18 inches wide, 20.75 inches deep, and 40.5 inches high.
Shell and upholstery choices
Herman Miller offers the stool without upholstery, with a removable seat pad, or with a fully upholstered shell. The shell has waterfall edges and a flexible back; standard glides may be ordered with or without felt.
Finish range
The official price book lists 12 shell colours and three base finishes. Counter and bar models use the same shell format, while the taller bar version increases the overall height to 45.25 inches.
Historia
A shell adapted for elevated seating
The product page presents this stool as an elevated expression of the Eames single-shell programme. Its four-leg base comes in counter and bar heights, while the shell is offered without upholstery, with a removable seat pad, or fully upholstered.
Current recycled-plastic version
Herman Miller states that the molded plastic shell now contains 100 percent recycled plastic. The present programme adds upholstery and glide choices without changing the stool's single-piece shell construction.
